Circus is a gallery that showcases urban art and illustration projects. Located in Rua do Rosário, in the heart of the Art District, it stands out because of the close-knit relationship with its network of artists. The gallery doubles as a co-work space and Draw, Mesk, Fedor, Oker e Mots are household names.

The brainchild of Ana Muska and André Carvalho, Circus was initially thought of as an agency that would organize events and exhibitions, but it soon evolved into a much more ambitious concept.  Its gallery opening was the peak of a set of events that have played a key role in Porto’s artistic and cultural growth. The painting portraying D. Quixote with a brush behind his ear and the city’s first legal urban art mural were both promoted by it, and they are also behind Push, Porto’s first Urban Art Festival.
