By vocation and provocation are words that define Pedro Caride. Marketing is his training and that is enough to explain the way Caride sees and works in the world of fashion and others. Pedro Caride’s career was defined by the moment he decided to leave Lisbon behind and open his store “Por Vocação” (By Vocation), in Porto, in 1997. This space in Avenida da Boavista was a reference due to it’s creative shop windows and the international brands it brought to the city.

Pedro closed his store, but he did not shut the doors. “Por Vocação” is still the name of his marketing company which intends to give continuity to the work the store started – divulge and promote brands in the national and international market in an original form. His years of experience in this field make him a reference in brand marketing in a national and international level. Exchanging the capital for Porto leaves no regret to Caride who states he has developed a passion for the city that took him in. Quality of life is a decisive factor in his bond to Porto.
